Aluminum and Resin Pickguard made to fit Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster.

This pickguard was for a client that wanted a custom pickguard for their J Mascis Jazzmaster. They specifically asked for a weathered of slightly relic’ed transparent look. Using heat and oil I dulled down the engraved aluminum before pouring the resin. Client wanted the resin and aluminum dull, so I stopped short of my usual sanding and polishing routine to maintain the look they liked.
